How to Pack For The Grand Canyon

Don’t you love the hustle and bustle before vacation? There’s so much to look forward to, but also, so much to pack! Getting ready for your trip to the Grand Canyon can be daunting AND exciting!
 
1. Layers
The Grand Canyon’s climate changes with all the different altitudes, so make sure you bring clothing you can easily layer to cool off or warm up!
 
2. Reusable Water Bottle
You’ll always want to have water on hand, whether you are hiking the trails or leisurely sightseeing! There are so many places you can stop and fill up, you’ll want to make sure your water bottle is handy!
 
3. Backpack
Of course, you’ll want to have everything handy! Plan ahead to make sure you can fit all of your items in your bag! Your backpack will also give you the extra luxury of making sure your hands are free for the trip!
 
4. Sunscreen
Most of the time while you are exploring the Grand Canyon, you will be exposed directly to the sun. Never forget that it doesn’t matter if it’s cold out – the sun can still take a toll on you!
5. Battery pack
Whether you need to charge your phone, GoPro or camera, extra battery life is always useful! Make sure you have the wires need to plug in anything you need!
 
6. Plastic Bags
Make sure you have something to protect your electronics if you get caught in the rain! You can save anything from damage or moisture by carrying a few extra bags with you for the trip!
