Packing for Spring Travel

Spring time is closer than it seems! After vacations being postponed or cancelled, people throughout the country are yearning for a place to go where they can relax, explore, and do so safely. The Grand Canyon has quickly emerged as an ideal place to travel with family for spring break, with our open trails and space for everyone!

What do you pack on a spring break trip to Arizona? Our temperatures vary greatly from one part of the canyon walls to another, so we’re all about layering. It’s always a good idea to take a look at the daily highs and lows to get an idea of what to bring with you on your day of sightseeing and you will be thankful you packed a jacket as you explore!

Extra water bottles are a must! Many of the water refill stations that are typically available on hiking trails have been temporarily shut down due to COVID. You can purchase water bottles at many stores throughout the Grand Canyon Village. Make sure you’re stocked up before you take off!

Don’t forget your battery packs! There’s nothing worse than realizing you’re almost out of power on vacation. Whether you’re hiking or searching for your next lunch spot, make sure your phone has the charge it needs.

Last but not least, don’t forget the sunscreen. Even if a nice breeze is blowing and the temperatures aren’t high, the sun can cause real and lasting damage to your skin. While you’re exploring the wide open spaces, it’s important to remember to take care of yourself!

When you’re ready to plan your next amazing adventure, we’re here to help. Grand Canyon Rentals Adventures is proud to be a local, veteran owned business that is here to help you from start to finish!
