After months of lockdown and being stuck inside, we are approaching the first phases of re-opening our country and beginning to learn to social distance while getting back to normal. It seems that everyone has had a trip or adventure they missed; weddings, spring break vacations and more have been cancelled or postponed. Once we’re able to travel again, what will the new normal look like?

If you’re driving from the north, Lake Powell is an easy stop to make and offers a ton of scenery. Lake Powell is the second largest man-made reservoir in the United States, straddling between Arizona and Utah. Over two million people come to enjoy boating, the amazing restaurants and tranquility that Lake Powell offers! 4. Prescott
Prescott, Arizona, is quite the hidden gem! Prescott offers an old, historic feeling with a beautiful backdrop. Visit Whiskey Row to take a step back in time and enjoy a drink where cowboys and outlaws once spent their evenings. Lots of the attractions still look the way they did during the Gold Rush Era. In the winter, you’ll be greeted by snow covered mountains!

3. Phoenix
Phoenix often comes to mind when you think of Arizona, but there may be things to do that you didn’t know about. Offering world-class golfing and incredible hiking trails, Phoenix is perfect for the family that wants to be outdoors! Downtown is always known for being lively and energetic. Museums, music festivals and baseball games are sure to keep you busy, so make sure to check events calendars while you are planning your visit!
2. Havasu Falls
Havasu Falls is famous for it’s beautiful waterfall and it is easy to see why – the view is astounding. Hikers flock to Havasu Falls for it’s hiking trails and reward upon arrival! Plan your trip in advance, as it is not located in the Grand Canyon National Park, but rather on the Indian Reservation. You must register for a permit beforehand, so maybe sure to do that before you stop by!

Flagstaff is packed with art and entertainment, which is perfect for a day trip! Visit Heritage Square and enjoy their free activities through each day. Their stage often hosts plays, music and more – which is also now being offered with a virtual twist! Flagstaff also boasts festivals throughout the year. There’s plenty of cultural education that is easily found in the city, which is perfect for children with a curious mind.
